Description

Logistics Center:

1. Manage the implementation of the Group’s Supply Chain strategy defined by the Supply Chain Center of Excellence within Orange Cameroon:

–          Plan and allocate the resources needed for supply and distribution.

–          Implement operational plans aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.

–          Drive performance through appropriate KPIs, and adjust operations in real time.

 

2.  Oversee procurement, warehouse management, distribution and returns flows:

–          Coordinate logistics flows between suppliers, warehouses and distribution points.

–          Supervise commercial stores and technical stores in a differentiated manner.

–          Optimize inventory to minimize costs while meeting the needs of internal and external customers.

–          Optimize the provision of

–          Effectively coordinate the use of warehouse spaces to reduce storage costs.

–          Ensure the efficiency of product return processes.

 

3. Contribute to the optimization of processes and tools to improve the overall performance of the supply chain:

–          Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement.

–          Integrate advanced technologies such as ERP and WMS into logistics processes.

–          Deploy action plans to increase the efficiency of teams and systems.

 

4. Ensure the management and budgetary control of logistics activities:

–          Prepare, monitor and adjust budgets to meet strategic priorities.

–          Guarantee the achievement of financial objectives without compromising the quality of services.

 

5. Manage the operational management of transit and customs activities:

–          Coordinate transit and customs clearance operations to ensure the smooth flow of logistics.

–          Ensure constant optimization of transit times and associated costs.

–          Ensure efficient management of transit and customs clearance operations to guarantee the fluidity of logistics flows.

–          Optimize transit times and minimize costs related to customs procedures.

 

6. Oversee strategic interactions with the customs administration:

–          Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with customs authorities to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.

–          Supervise customs controls and anticipate regulatory changes to limit operational risks.

Transport Pole:

1. Define and manage the transport and fleet management strategy:

–          Design vehicle management policies aligned with company objectives.

–          Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the transport strategy for adjustment.

 

2. Supervise the maintenance, administrative monitoring and management of transport providers:

–          Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance operations.

–          Ensure the legal and administrative compliance of vehicles.

–          Supervise relationships with service providers to ensure quality services.

 

3. Supervise the planning and coordination activities of transport operations:

–          Optimize schedules to ensure efficient use of vehicles.

–          Ensure the coordination of flows between the different sites and delivery points.

–          Guarantee the punctuality and reliability of transport services.

 

4. Define and implement the road safety strategy:

–          Ensure the implementation of programs to raise awareness among drivers about road safety.

–          Oversee the implementation of monitoring systems to reduce incidents and accidents.

–          Collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.

 

5. Optimize operational costs while maintaining high performance:

–          Identify levers for savings in resource and operations management.

–          Propose innovative strategies to reduce expenses without impacting quality.

–          Organize and manage the Division’s activity

–          Facilitate the sharing of knowledge, experiences and best practices within its Division

Qualifications

Education  : BAC + 5 in Management, Finance or Engineering Diploma

Minimum experience :4 to 5 years in a similar position

• Strategic direction and ability to align operations with overall business objectives.
• Expertise in strategic management of logistics and transport operations, including planning and optimization of resources.
• Mastery of advanced digital tools (ERP, WMS, TMS, BI) and ability to deploy innovative solutions to improve performance.
• Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
• In-depth knowledge of logistics, customs regulations and road safety standards.
• Experience in managing complex projects, including the integration of new technologies or process transformation.
