WE ARE RECRUITING SENIOR INTERNAL / EXTERNAL TAX ACCOUNTANT

Main Mission(s): He/she will be in charge of the company’s tax compliance
while optimizing its tax burden, respecting the

regulations in force and ensuring rigorous accounting. In
addition, you will work at the heart of the financial department, in close collaboration
with internal teams and external partners.

Main responsibilities
1. Ensure the recording and monitoring of
accounting operations; 2. Ensure compliance with accounting and tax
standards ; 3. Prepare tax payments; 4. Estimate and control tax returns ; 5. Prepare tax reports quarterly and annually; 6. Recommend tax strategies in line with the company’s objectives. We are looking for professionals experienced in managing the daily operations and business development of the bank’s branches to ensure their excellence in terms of service quality and productivity. Job Profile 7. Prepare the necessary documents for payment and tax returns; 8. Identify tax savings and propose solutions to increase profits; 9. Monitor industry trends and changes related to taxes; 10. Announce tax forecasts to senior management 11. Ensure tax monitoring and ensure compliance with legal obligations 12. Advise management on tax optimization and financial strategies Candidate Profile ✓ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting and Management, Taxation, Finance or any other equivalent field; 1. Required Academic Qualifications ✓ Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar position or in an accounting/tax firm. 2. Professional Experience ✓ Excellent command of Cameroonian tax and accounting standards; ✓ Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite , accounting software and tax rules. ✓ Bilingualism (English/French) is a must, or at least perfect command of one of the two languages; 3. Professional Skills ✓ High level of initiative and leadership, keen attention to detail; ✓ Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and influence their decisions; ✓ Flexible and open to changing priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
