Maviance PLC is engaging in its expansion phase in Cameroon and within the CEMAC (Central African) region with the goal of establishing the company as the #1 leading player in the Fintech and Digital Financial space.

To accompany us in this light, we are looking for an energetic and results-driven Shop Manager who shall be responsible for ensuring the smooth, profitable, and compliant operation of our retail shop. The mission of the ideal candidate shall be to coordinate the sales of kits and resubscriptions, provide daily, weekly and monthly report on the shop, activate all the sales done by our foot soldiers and the shop sellers, ensure good quality in terms of kits installation (Meet service plus target) and provide daily report on the stock situation. The chosen candidate shall report to the Head of Agent Network. Also, candidate must be based in Bertoua.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day shop operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and inventory control
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment that aligns with brand standards
  • Monitor and maintain visual merchandising, signage, and product displays

Sales & Customer Experience

  • Drive sales targets and Upsell/Cross-sell opportunities to boost revenue
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, resolve complaints, and build strong customer relationships
  • Train, motivate, and supervise shop staff to achieve performance goals

Product & Inventory

  • Manage stock levels, ordering, receiving, and cycle counts
  • Conduct regular stock audits and coordinate with supply chain to minimize shrinkage
  • Ensure accurate POS transactions and reconcile end-of-day figures

People & Leadership

  • Onboard, and develop shop staff, conduct performance reviews
  • Create a positive team culture, provide feedback, and manage leave and attendance
  • Coordinate with field and regional teams for support and compliance

Compliance & Security

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, security procedures, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement anti-fraud measures and safeguard sensitive financial information

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales per square foot, conversion rate, average order value, and inventory turnover
  • Prepare regular reports for the Head of Agent Network and propose action-plans

Requirements

  • BTS or HND in sales, Management, Marketing or any related field
  • Mastery of Microsoft office (Word, excel, Powerpoint)
  • Fluent in English and French
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or stock management
  • Interest in fintech, digital payments, or financial innovation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a tech-driven, fast-paced environment
  • High attention to details and a proactive, problem-solving attitude
