CONTEXT
About Good Neighbors:
Good Neighbors is a humanitarian and Development international Korean NGO founded in Seoul in March 1991. It is present in 51 countries around the world and aims to make the world a better, hunger-free place, where people live together in harmony. It focuses on Community development to protect children’s rights and encourage community autonomy.
A team from Good Neighbors Korea (GNKR) visited Cameroon in September in a bid to produce a documentary film capturing the daily lives of three children living in precarious conditions. Following the release of this documentary, funds were successfully raised to support the families of these three children. We now intend to document the post-support impact. Specifically, we want to capture and share what their lives look like after the filming and detail the support the families have received. This follow-up documentation will highlight the long-term changes and the effect of the intervention on the children and their families.
BACKGROUND
Good Neighbors Cameroon (GNCMR) is committed to achieving its mission and goals in supporting child rights in the Country through its projects and programs. It is currently implementing many different projects and programs across the Country in that light. In order to showcase our actions and impact, GN is producing high-quality video content that completes the powerful narrative begun in September: following an initial documentary that highlighted the precarious lives of three families and successfully mobilized support, this new, content will document the post-support impact by visually capturing what the families’ lives look like after our intervention, detailing the assistance received, and providing essential accountability to our donors through a comprehensive story of transformation.
