Technical Sales Representative / Counter Agent / Driver – AUTO 22 INDUSTRY SARL Douala
AUTO 22 INDUSTRY, a major player in the industrial parts distribution sector in Douala, is looking for a versatile and motivated Technical Sales Representative / Counter Agent / Driver. This key position requires a unique combination of technical (electrical, mechanical, industrial plumbing, etc.), commercial and logistical skills. Main Missions

Under the supervision of the Sales Department, the Technical Sales Representative / Counter Agent / Driver will have a hybrid role and varied missions:

1. Technical Sales Representative & Counter Agent Role:

Customer Advice: Welcome and advise customers at the counter or by phone on products (spare parts and industrial equipment, etc.) by providing technical expertise.
Sales: Identify customer needs and propose suitable solutions and products, ensuring customer satisfaction and revenue development.

Quotation/Invoice Preparation: Prepare quotations, purchase orders, and invoices using the sales management system.
Counter Management: Ensure proper counter maintenance, price display, and product presentation.
Pre-Sales Technical Support: Answer complex technical questions from customers regarding product application, installation, or operation.
2. Driver-Delivery Role:

Delivery: Ensure the prompt and secure delivery of orders to customers, respecting deadlines and defined routes.
Loading/Unloading: Participate in the loading and unloading of goods into the delivery vehicle.

Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the proper maintenance and routine upkeep of the delivery vehicle provided.
Management of vouchers: Sign delivery vouchers and ensure the conformity of deliveries.
3. Versatile Technical Support Role:

Diagnostics & Troubleshooting (Level 1): Assist customers or the team with simple diagnostics on problems related to electricity, mechanics, plumbing (industrial or automotive) and other industrial systems (pumps, motors, etc.).
Preventative/Curative Maintenance: Carry out minor technical interventions or first-level maintenance on equipment or vehicles.

Part Identification: Use in-depth technical knowledge to identify parts and components needed for repairs or installations.
Technological Monitoring: Stay informed of technical developments in products and diagnostic/repair methods.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:

Technical diploma (CAP/BEP, Bac Pro, BTS) in automotive mechanics, electromechanics, industrial electricity, industrial maintenance, or industrial plumbing.
Experience:

Minimum 3 to 5 years of combined experience in technical positions (mechanic, electrician, plumber), in technical sales or as a delivery driver. Experience in the automotive sector is a big plus.
Essential Technical Skills:

Solid knowledge of automotive mechanics (engines, transmissions, brakes, etc.).
Proven skills in electricity (circuit diagnosis, wiring, electrical diagrams).

Plumbing skills (fluid circuits, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, fittings).
Understanding of industrial principles and associated components.
Category B and C driving license (if necessary for large volume/weight deliveries).
Proficiency in office tools (Office Pack, especially Excel) and ease with commercial/stock management software.

Job Conditions

Contract Type: Permanent Contract (CDI)
