Role Context
Sorting and stockkeeping of Inbound shipments, preparation of packages and participation in physical inspection, provide safety and security of shipments and their content. Ensure accurate data entry and network checkpoint policies compliance. Ensure any shipments released is done with the appropriate documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload bonded trucks, check, sort, remove and accommodate shipments in warehouse shelf and/or cages, pack, unpack, label and re-pack shipments in accordance with customs and DHL requirements
- Provide preparation of shipments for customs physical inspection
- Ensure data transmission for all warehouse related Network checkpoints
- Arrange correct storage and security of shipments in bonded area and in the abandoned shipments warehouse
- Ensure the security and integrity of high value and sensitive shipments
- Follow up the process for the release of shipments from the warehouse without exposing the company to any customs penalties
- Ensure the safety requirements are applied while working in the warehouses
Minimum Requirements
Education & experience
- 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Entry level service, production, or support role requiring basic skills; can perform the basic tasks within the function.
- Requires minimal knowledge beyond the assigned work.
- Demonstrates correct understanding of routine aspects of work.
