We are recruiting an Odoo Developer Analyst & IT Support

General Mission of the position:

Ensure the implementation, development, and maintenance of the Odoo solution within the company, while providing basic technical support for the information system. The incumbent contributes to the optimization of business processes through configuration, development, and functional support on Odoo, while ensuring the smooth running of the IT infrastructure. Their actions are consistent with the company’s vision, mission, and values.

 

Main Attributions:

 

1. Odoo Management and Development

• Participate in the analysis of functional needs expressed by the different departments.
• Configure standard Odoo modules (sales, purchasing, inventory, accounting, HR, production, etc.).
• Develop or adapt specific modules (Python, XML, QWeb).
• Create internal reports, dashboards and automations.
• Manage the PostgreSQL database and ensure application backups.
• Test, document and put developments into production.
• Train users and provide ongoing functional support.
• Train the IT team on ODOO development
• Contribute to the IT team’s skills development in Odoo development.
• Collaborate on the integration of Odoo with other internal tools (Excel, website, API, etc.).
• Participate in updating Odoo versions and migrating modules.

 

2. IT support and assistance

• Provide first-level technical support (workstations, printers, messaging, local network).
• Install and maintain the software and systems necessary for the proper functioning of the IT system.
• Monitor the IT infrastructure and ensure compliance with security procedures.
• Participate in backups and protection of critical data.
• Train users on the proper use of software tools and business applications.
• Diagnose computer failures and propose corrective solutions.

 

3. Participation in IT projects

• Contribute to information system development projects and Odoo deployments.
• Document developments, settings and user procedures.
• Carry out functional and technological monitoring on Odoo and its modules.

NB: The employee will actively participate in the deployment of the company’s QHSE approach.

Agent Profile

Academic profile and minimum experience

• Minimum Bac+3 diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Networks and Systems or equivalent.
• 2 to 3 years minimum in an Odoo environment or similar position
