WomHub Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator 2023
The year-long hybrid (in-person and virtual) programme brings together 15 South African women entrepreneurs and aims to provide leadership development and intensive entrepreneurial support for founder growth in the engineering and technology industries.
The Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator programme aims to support the next generation of businesses in South Africa and is designed to empower South African female-led SMME (Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise) businesses that could form part of Sasol’s supply and value chain. Engineering businesses create a better economy and future for all. The Programme will run from July 2023 – June 2024 for fifteen (15) qualifying South African women entrepreneurs and includes access to WomHub’s unique innovation and co-working spaces in Johannesburg and Cape Town, live masterclasses, one-on-one venture clinics and in-person working sessions
About WomHub
WomHub is a boutique pan-African incubator for female-founders in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Manufacturing). At WomHub, we design and implement programmes for our clients which provide a holistic offering of business services tailored for female founders. This includes our co-working space (launching September 2020), pipeline sourcing, incubator programmes (in-person and virtual), learning & development and investor readiness.

Requirements for Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Qualification
The Sasol Women in Engineering Incubator Programme aims to provide South African Women Entrepreneurs with the following:
- Technical engineering expertise to support commercialization and scale
- Personal entrepreneurial development
- Practical tools and strategies for business development and growth
- One-on-one diagnostics, mentorship, and business financial coaching for developing SMMEs
- Support on the engendered challenges female founders face
- Access to market opportunities
All relevant programme costs will be covered for the selected participants.

Web Development Instructor
As a Web Development Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that cover primary web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as server-side development with Node.js and Express.js.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging lessons that cover web development fundamentals, advanced concepts, and hands-on activities.
- Ensure that course content is up-to-date, relevant, and aligned with industry standards.
- Provide individualized support to students, including feedback on their work, answering their questions, and addressing their concerns.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters collaboration and peer learning.
- Use appropriate teaching methods and technologies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Evaluate student performance and provide regular feedback on their progress.
Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve course content and delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor ‘s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least four years of experience in web development, including front-end and back-end development.
Experience teaching or training individuals or groups in web development.
Strong knowledge of primary web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as server-side development with Node.js and Express.js.
Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
