Responsibilities and specific tasks: Under the supervision of the Administrative and Financial Manager,
the accounting manager is responsible for supporting the implementation of the project, in conjunction with the
project program team. He/she coordinates the planning, management and implementation of
financial, logistical, contractual and administrative activities, in compliance with
contractual obligations and FAIRMED rules. Specifically, she/he will be responsible for:
Responsibility No. 1: Financial management of the project
– Maintain accurate and complete monthly accounting within the deadlines granted by headquarters
or by donors in the accounting software;
– Control the regularity and sincerity of accounting documents by ensuring the quality
of expenses and justifications;
– Ensure compliance of expenses according to donor requirements
– Ensure the classification and archiving of financial and administrative documents;
– Prepare and submit quarterly financial reports to the coordination level;
– Ensure cash management;
– Maintain inventory of project fixed assets;
– In collaboration with the Administrative and Financial Manager (RAF), prepare and participate
in external audits and take appropriate corrective measures;
– Participate in the prevention and management of organizational risks on the project;
– Participate in the development of the project budget;
– Ensure monitoring of budget line consumption at project level and take
appropriate corrective measures in collaboration with the RAF.

 

 

Responsibility No. 2: Administrative management of the project
– Ensure strict compliance with administrative and logistics management standards and procedures in
force at FAIRMED;
– Ensure office management
– Participate in the administrative management of project staff – Train the project team and partners on FAIRMED
