I – PRESENTATION OF THE POSITION

Based in Yaoundé (Cameroon) since 1995, the Central Africa and Great Lakes regional department manages a network of 116 university establishments in 11 countries (Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Central African Republic, Republic Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Chad, Zimbabwe).
It has 7 national offices: in Burundi (Bujumbura), Cameroon (Yaoundé), Congo (Brazzaville), Gabon (Libreville), Central African Republic (Bangui), Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) and Chad (N ‘Djamena).

Under the immediate responsibility of the head of the AUF-Congo national office, the manager of the French-speaking Digital Campus (CNF) ensures the administrative, financial and technical functioning of the French-speaking Digital Campus (CNF). He/she participates in its planning and strategic direction.

II – MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Valuation, advice and expertise

    Initiate and support structuring projects of AUF member establishments Carry
    out monitoring, analyze local needs and participate in the definition of projects
    Ensure relay on the ground, initiatives and other actions carried out by the IFIC
    Ensure the implementation of innovation policy and projects through ICT and facilitate access and dissemination of scientific and technical information
    Support the production and promotion of digital educational and scientific resources
    Lead the network of users by organizing training days and open days, thematic seminars, and conferences on new technologies
    Support the development and monitoring of new open spaces
    Participate in internal and/or external bodies and provide a contribution of expertise AUF
    Initiate or relay conferences, webinars and scientific training locally, particularly by videoconferences
    Support the deployment and implementation of AUF national and international projects




 

Communication

    Communicate internally and externally
    Promote all AUF projects and actions among students, teachers, researchers and professionals of the region
    Lead local internet sites and social networks

III – QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Training

    Second cycle university degree (master’s degree or equivalent professional diploma) in educational sciences, economics, project management development, or any other relevant discipline

Experience

    Minimum relevant experience of five (5) years in the field of employment
    Experience in training engineering and new technologies
    Experience in an international, multi-site and multicultural context, an asset

Skills

    Knowledge of international cooperation and the university Francophonie
    Good knowledge of online course design tools
    Ability to contribute to strategic thinking and the definition of the strategic orientations and objectives of the AUF
    Ability to optimize the use of available resources, to prioritize priorities and meet deadlines while taking into account quality requirements
    Ability to support, plan and monitor a project in all its aspects (logistics, budgetary, human resources, information)
    Ability to promote respect, diversity, inclusion and collaboration at work
    Organizational, administrative and financial capacities, sense of priorities, autonomy
    Supervision, leadership and team mobilization capacities
    Initiative and proposal capacities
    Good mastery of office tools and ERP (ERP)
    Comfort relational
    Mastery of the French language read, written and spoken

IV – CONDITIONS

    Place of assignment : Brazzaville, Congo
    Type of contract: Fixed-term contract of two (2) years
    Date of entry into position: As soon as possible
